Allana played for Australia in the Rugby Sevens in 2013, and then a string of knee injuries left Allana on the sidelines for some time before she made the switch back to rugby league. Allana made her women's debut in the rugby league against Queensland for New South Wales. Allana has also added radio to her game, performing regularly with the most popular Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Outside of sport Allana is a qualified teacher. Allana Ferguson has the unique privilege of representing Australia in three sports that include the rugby sevens (rugby league) along with touch, and also the rugby union.
